St. Antony’s Matriculation Higher secondary school is the
vision of S J Antony Raj and the brain child of A Kamalraj
who himself was an educationist. The main aim of S J Antony
Raj is to give back to the society. He wants the children of
today’s generation to grow into leaders of tomorrow in any
field they pursue, in addition to this, he also wants them
to be individuals with high morals. To do this, he felt
education is the only way to it.
Emerged in 1999, the school initially started
with a strength of 5 but has since grown in its own unique
way with continuous support from teachers and support from
staff and most importantly the children and their parents.
The school has been changing to the needs of today’s
generation by embracing technology in every fold.
At this time of pandemic, we encourage all parents to spend
time with their children in their everyday learning.
Reach out to the school for any help that is required from
your end.
Involvement of parents is very important for children to
succeed in school. When parents are involved in everyday
activities of their child, their performance in school
increases. The school management expects the below
activities to be performed by parents.
1. Have an active channel of communication with their
respective teachers.
2. Help their child to be appropriately dressed following
the school dress code.
3. Ensure that children attend school on time. At
St.Antony's we ensure punctuality as we believe that to be
the base of learning
4. Inform to school on children's absence and late
arrival.
5. Work with school management to address child's
disciplinary issues if any.
6. Follow the school's instructions while visiting the
teachers, management, paying fees or any other visit to the
school except during emergency where the parent or guardian
can mention emergency and come directly to the office.
At these times of technological advancements, Physical and
Mental well-being should still be considered a prime focus
among all individuals. At our school we believe in the
physical and mental health and design programs that meet the
childrens requirements.
The Fit for Life Challenge is designed to:
Prepare students to meet their academic potential
and succeed.
Increase student readiness for learning curriculum content.
Students are encouraged to participate in opportunities that
engage them to be physically active.
Encourage student involvement by providing additional
opportunities to be physically active.
Present students with knowledge on healthy eating habits.
Encouraging and providing children the freedom to share their
thoughts, that they feel will help them as part of their
everyday activities to overcome fear.
Also children are given the courage to speak publicly and we
feel this will help them in their future to face any
challenges that is presented to them.
